Your Love

The quiet moments spent together. The adventures. The way they greet you when you get home. The love that you share with your dog or cat means the world to you. It means the world to us, too.

Our Calling

This isn’t a job to us. Giving you more years, more moments, and more love with your pet is our calling in life. It is who we have always been, and who we are meant to be. Now, meet the team by your side.

When we look into the eyes of an animal, we see innocence. We feel a soul that deserves to be loved and cared for. We see our purpose in life. Giving your pet the best life possible is our passion. Now, meet the team by your side.

Very few people can honestly say that they love waking up every day and going to their dream job, but I can. I’m Jon M. Todd and I’m the owner of Logan County Animal Clinic. From my earliest memories I have always know that I was going to be a veterinarian. Growing up on a small cotton and sorghum cane farm in north Alabama sounds horrible to most, but I wouldn’t change a thing. I grew up with my best friend in the other end of my house, My Granddad. He was the most influential person of my life. He saw and believed in my love of animals. We had every farm animal known. From the family milk cow, chickens, pigs, beef cows, horses and mules, to the numerous dogs and cats that made us smile. He recognized early on that education was of utmost importance and pushed me to be all that I could be. Being the first in my family of four to attend college was a daunting experience. Moving to Auburn University after graduating from a small rural high school in Albertville Alabama, was an AUsome experience that most can only dream of. Growing up in the “Lovliest village on the plains” is without a doubt one of my life’s best experiences. Graduating cum laude from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine was a dream that sadly my Granddad missed, I moved to Logan County Kentucky in June of 1990 and never looked back. The friendly hometown charm caused me to stay and build a life caring for all types of animals. When I started at LCAC, it was a large animal only practice. After purchasing Logan County Animal Clinic in 1994, we started seeing small animals as well, and from there we have become an AAHA accredited small animal clinic known for our state of the art facility and our ability to take on the most difficult cases. “Every Pet, Every Person, Every Time” is not only our moto, but our way of life. We have and continue to add to our team, some of the brightest and best people in the industry, and have aligned ourselves with management groups and specialist to continue to improve the lives of pets and their families throughout south central Kentucky and middle Tennessee.
